Why are there no current prices here?

We only fetch current prices when you open a city – that is how the Market Transparency Unit wants it, and it keeps the free interface from being overloaded. The values on this page are daily averages that we calculate every night from the historical data.

When is it cheapest to fill up in Bavaria?

As everywhere in Germany, usually in the late morning shortly before 12 noon: since 1 April 2026, petrol stations may only raise their prices at 12 noon. How big the midday jump is in a city is shown on its page, in the section on the best time to fill up.
